Core value varies by engine code, demand, and completeness — a complete long block with accessories and uncracked casings is worth the most. Turned-over internals, cracked blocks, and stripped cores are worth less but often still worth something. Popular performance cores (2JZ, K-series, SR, RB, EJ) hold the strongest value.
