Track Your Order

Engines ship by freight, not parcel. Here's how to find out exactly where yours is.

Check your email first

When your order ships we email you a confirmation with the carrier and tracking or pro number. Search your inbox for JDM Alliance LA — and check your spam folder, since freight notifications often land there. Your original order confirmation email also has a View your order link that shows live status.

What the freight timeline looks like

Order placed. We pull the exact unit by serial number and confirm it against your vehicle.
Compression test & crating. Usually 1–3 business days. Larger crates and engine-plus-transmission combos take longer.
Picked up by the carrier. You get the carrier name and pro number by email.
In transit. Transit time depends on your zone — see our shipping page for the map.
Delivery appointment. Freight carriers call ahead to schedule. Answer that call — missed appointments mean redelivery fees.

Important for residential deliveries. A freight truck will not carry an engine into your garage. Residential delivery includes a liftgate that lowers the crate to the curb or driveway — getting it from there is on you. If you can receive at a shop with a dock or forklift, choose the commercial option and save money.

Shipping to Hawaii, Alaska or Puerto Rico?

Island and territory orders move in two legs — overland to the port, then ocean. Tracking updates are less frequent than domestic freight, and there's usually a quiet stretch while your crate is at sea. That's normal.
