Buying an engine from across the country

Most people shopping for a JDM engine aren't within driving distance of the warehouse holding it. That's fine — the majority of what leaves our floor gets crated and freighted. What matters when you're buying remotely is that the seller can tell you exactly which unit you're getting, prove it was tested, and be straight with you about what freight actually costs.

Every engine we sell carries a serial number. Before you pay, we'll confirm the exact unit going in your crate, send you photos of it, and verify the engine code against your chassis. You're not buying a stock photo of a category — you're buying a specific engine we can identify.

What makes a JDM engine worth buying

Japan's shaken inspection system makes it expensive to keep older vehicles registered. Cars get retired far earlier than they would here, which means engines come out of service with a fraction of the wear an equivalent American-market unit would have. Typical mileage for our JDM units is 35,000 to 55,000 miles. Ask us and we'll give you the verified mileage on the specific engine you're looking at.

Commercial means a business address with a dock or forklift — always the cheaper option if you can receive at your installer's shop. Residential + liftgate puts the crate at your curb; getting it into the garage is on you.

Confirm fitment with us. Call with your year, make, model and chassis code. Wrong-engine returns cost everyone money.
Warranty: 90 days on standard engines, 30 days on performance engines and all transmissions. Rotary engines are sold as-is.
Every engine is compression-tested before it leaves the building.
